Do you model?

I don’t model, I just did one of those ‘hair and makeover’ photoshoots when I was about 14!

I’ve always been interested in modeling sports wear, surfer-style looks and vintage clothing!

I’ve had a couple opportunities but I got a bit shy I guess!

As a model/aspiring model, do you think that it is important to have a large following?

Digital and social media marketing are always rapidly increasing from things like our devices and social network.

It depends what you want out of modeling, how you perceive yourself and whether that’s the image you want to give out to your following…

I’d hate to think young girls look up to models on Instagram making a correlating link between a figure on a screen, and their potential for success and self-worth and beauty!

Who is your favorite model?

I think Jess Ennis is great, along with Alex Morgan (both professional sports players).

They embrace their healthy bodies which reflects a healthy and happy life!

What is your dream in life?

I’ve wanted to play football professionally since I was about 4 or 5.

It’s slightly changed now as I did a US soccer scholarship when I was 18, and unfortunately I realized that it wasn’t for me!

Are you following your dream?

Right now i’m letting my big extravagant and ambitious ideas about life rest for a while, as I believe you need to find self-fulfillment first!

My dream right now is just be healthy and happy, so I can go onto the big things again!

I’ve learned to stop chasing the highs, and live in the present!

What projects are you currently working on?

I’m undergoing some objective targets in my work (A student events company) at the moment, to hopefully progress into a more authoritative role.

However I’m also working on myself, practicing mediation and relaxation, and also ob my University exams.

So for now, I’m juggling between the 3 but prioritizing my wellbeing improving.

What’s an instant deal-breaker for you?

Well, I don’t know what is but I know what isn’t…

I HATE when guys you don’t know, have never met, pop up to you on social media, based on the fact they think you’re good looking!!

So, I guess a deal breaker for me is talking and laughing with someone I have just met. Being initial friends with a guy is the BASIC need for anything.

What is your ideal first date?

Probably something cute but chilled! I like getting dressed up for a nice bar, but a walk or chill down a beach during sunset with some wine would satisfy me.

Tell us a random fact about yourself.

I do a lot of writing and a have a fear of ONIONS

What are you most proud of?

Probably that I worked for 19 years to achieve my dream to play for my country and move to the State to do a soccer scholarship and leave home quite young.

I got there, then realized it wasn’t really what I’d hoped, and 2 years on I’ve only just been classifying myself as a failure.

Basically, I’m proud that I can find strength in knock-backs in life and learn from them!

What type of style would you say fits you best or that you wear the most?

I LOVE a nice dress and heels..but I’m a tomboy at heart!!

Black ripped skirt and skinnies and blue denim MOM jeans.

I’ll wear a simple top or jumper and wear gemstone necklaces with some shade and my Tommy Hilfiger jacket (my fav).

Did you have any mentors who greatly impacted your career or growth?

I’d say my mum is my biggest idol. She had to stop work age 35 after the diagnosis of bipolar, whereby she just me and my brother, and a full-time job always taking us training.

However, she’s always been discriminated for being out of work (she’s a really clever and ambitious woman).

I’ve therefore always jumped at work opportunities and almost compensate for the work she’s not well enough to partake in!

Do you have any tips for girls who are trying to live out their dreams?

No dream is ever too big, don’t be scared of just jumping into the deep end without thinking! Just make a plan.

Work hard every day and stay humble (but remember your balance, if it’s not in proportion you’ll burn out like i did!).

From experience, after achieving my ‘dream’, I realized the journey getting there was the dream I was living! Appreciate the process and be easy on yourself.

We’re only human.

What do you want to be remembered as?

I’ve always loved being an entertainer and the loud one, but only since the re-evaluation of the dream and returning home, I think people have started to realize that I’m not the cheerful, confident girl I am at parties etc!

I like to think I’ve endured a few hurtful incidents growing up but preach that it makes me strong, humble and somewhat inspirational.
