What inspired you to get into the modeling industry?
I never really thought about modeling until a friend of mine asked me to do a photoshoot a couple years ago.
How long have you been modeling?
I don’t really consider myself as a model. I’ve done a couple photoshoots but they were all just for fun and experience. I had so much fun at my first shoot which was around 3 years ago now.
As a model/aspiring model, do you think that it is important to have a large following?
Not necessarily, however, numbers are pretty important if you want to have a higher chance of being recognized.
But, I think having a follower base that appreciates and encourages what you do is more important.
Who is your favorite model?
Don’t think I have one but there are quite a few girls on Instagram who I follow who I think are absolute model material, like @missjuliakelly & @katyaelisehenry.
Were you ever camera shy?
I was super shy when I was younger, I used to hide when the cameras came out at family gatherings, sometimes even cried!
Have you ever been published in a print or digital magazine before?
No.
What’s something a guy can do to get your attention?
Be confident but not arrogant; Be polite and most importantly, make me laugh.
What’s an instant deal-breaker for you?
Being rude and arrogant is a huge turn off.
What is your ideal first date?
Something low key, like a picnic.
Tell us a random fact about yourself.
I used to take dancing and singing lessons.
What are you most proud of?
I’m proud of who I’ve become as a person and how I’ve grown to be mentally and emotionally stronger.
What’s your favorite healthy snack?
Pomegranates.
Did you have any mentors who greatly impacted your career or growth?
In terms of growth, I draw inspiration from my mum and my sisters. They have taught me to be kind and nurture relationships with others.
Do you have any tips for aspiring models who are trying to break into the industry?
Just be confident with yourself and don’t compare yourself to others.
What do you want to be remembered as?
I want to be remembered as someone who is always considerate and empathic.
