What inspired you to get into the modeling industry?
I have loved fashion for as long as I can remember and I never really considered modeling but I was constantly told by people around me that I should look into it.
Stores like Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom began asking me to do some modeling for events they were having and that’s when I started getting more into it.
How long have you been modeling?
I have been modeling for about 2 years.
As a model/aspiring model, do you think that it is important to have a large following?
Having a large following will definitely help you get noticed by brands and companies but it is not necessary.
The most important thing is to have a unique look and friendly personality. The fashion industry is always looking for new and fresh faces!
Who is your favorite model?
Right now I’m obsessed with Kaia Gerber! Her walk is insanely good and she has such a pretty face and legs for days!
Were you ever camera shy?
I don’t think I was ever camera shy. However, I don’t like to have my picture taken when I’m not wearing a cute outfit or having a bad hair day and etc. haha
Have you ever been published in a print or digital magazine before?
I was published in Gentry. It is a lifestyle magazine based in San Francisco and the Silicon Valley.
What’s something a guy can do to get your attention?
Be a gentlemen! And of course-really cute! 😉
What’s an instant deal-breaker for you?
Someone that has poor hygiene or is untrustworthy.
What is your ideal first date?
Horseback riding on the beach or cooking together! They’re 2 of my favorite things!
Tell us a random fact about yourself.
I used to be a competitive horseback rider and I traveled throughout the country to compete!
What are you most proud of?
I’m most proud of my shoe and handbag collection! If you saw my closet, you’d understand why I say that!
What’s your favorite healthy snack?
I have so many favorite snacks! I love chickpeas, avocado toast, popcorn, beef jerky, and raw organic protein bars!
Did you have any mentors who greatly impacted your career or growth?
I actually don’t have a mentor. I would say that I am my own mentor.
I am constantly striving to see how I can be better than I was and I keep myself motivated by setting goals.
Do you have any tips for aspiring models who are trying to break into the industry?
Don’t be discouraged and never, ever, give up. You’re going to hear a lot more “no’s” than “yes”—especially when your first start out.
Rejection is part of life and the sooner you learn to accept that, the better off you’ll be! Also, don’t compare yourself to others around you and be nice to everyone!
What do you want to be remembered as?
I know this might sound vague but I want to be remembered as an influential fashion figure.
